Top Ten Twelve Authors I Own The Most Books From

I have to go with 12 since I have a glut of authors tied at 7.  This is actually harder than it would appear.  There are a few I own a ton of books from, and others who are my favorites, who I own everything they've written, but they just haven't written that much.  Here is what I have though.  I am including both ARCs, paperbacks, hardbacks, and ebooks.  I am excluding short stories and compilations that they have been part of. I am also limiting it to YA books.  If we were doing adult or NA books, this would be a whole different list.

12 Books! I haven't read all of them, but I have almost the entire Gossip Girl and It Girl series.  Nothing else though, but those books alone push her high.

10 Books!  No surprise there, she is absolutely my favorite author.  I think I discovered I am missing one, which I will have to rectify.  They are all signed too.

9 Books!  No surprise here either.  She is probably my second favorite author.  Without shame I plunked down a bag of her books to have them signed during one of her tours.  She was a big sport and signed them all.

9 Books! I am lumping all her books I own by her, since she is only one author.  I have actually read pretty much everything she's written, I have just been using my library card to do it.

8 Books! Amazon put all her books on sale at one point, so I got them all.  Otherwise she doesn't show up on this list.  I still have a bunch to read though.

And here is my glut of authors with 7 books:

Some of these surprised me, and she is one.  I feel like I own so many, and have only read a few. Those I have read, I have enjoyed.

Another one that kind of surprised me.  I have read a ton from the library, I just didn't realize I had bought so many too.

True, it's more children's than YA, but I own all the Harry Potter books.  I'm ready for her to move on from her adult books and come back to children's.

I haven't read any of them.  It's so sad.  I hope to get to at least one this year.

LOVE HER.  I am actually surprised I don't own more, give me time.

This was one that surprised me since I've only read one of her books. At some point I'll read more.

I have read many more than I've bought.  I just check them out from the library. I was so happy when Amazon put the entire Vampire Academy series on sale, that's why I own so many.

  1. Great list! I had to up my number too. I had several tied when I started getting to lower numbers.

  2. Maggie Stiefvater made my list, too... but I don't have nine of her books! Has she written nine books...?

  3. Nice! I couldn't even begin to count all the books from my authors! One thing, the books are now all over the house and secondly there's the random ebooks/enovellas I would have but no clue as to who I have what from, and thirdly all the anthologies I have where the authors are likely in them. Needless to say I was too lazy to do any counting! But I listed series that I have and read! So it's close to counting! ;)

  4. Awesome list!! I just started reading the Vampire Academy series a few months ago and love it so far. J.K. Rowling and Cassandra Clare both made my list as well. I love Maggie Stiefvater's Raven Boys series as well as all of the Sarah Dessen books I've read so far, but I got these from the library and couldn't include them on my list.

    Here is my TTT:

  5. Maggie Stiefvater for the win! I had all my books signed but one at one of her most recent signings :) Cassandra Clare made my list as well. I did have more Melissa Marr books than I thought actually, I have only read two of her books but have four on my self which is more than some of my favorite authors! Great list of authors though
