Top Ten Favorite Books from the Past 3 years

This is where I'm really glad I keep good records about what I've read.  It was a bit hard to narrow it down, so I decided to limit it to books that were also PUBLISHED in the last three + years.  So January 1, 2012 - March 3, 2015.  These are NOT in order.

This one took me by surprise.  I knew it was my favorite type of book, but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did.

I have talked a lot about how much I adore this book, so it absolutely had to go on this list.  It just really hit close to home for me, and I try to push it on everyone I know.

I understand why it won the Printz, and it deserved it.  Jandy Nelson's first book The Sky is Everywhere is one of my all time favorite books, so I was totally looking forward to this one.  It was worth the wait.

Another book that took me a bit by surprise.  I don't normally love historical fiction, but this one had enough other stuff going on that I absolutely loved it.

  1. I NEED to read Eleanor & Park and I'll Give You the Sun! Great list! I was surprised by how hard it was to narrow it down, but I'm happy with mine and I'm loving everyone else's.

  3. Awesome list!!! I included TFIOS and the Raven Boys as well. We Were Liars was another great read. I easily could have included it this week as well. I'm currently reading Eleanor & Park, so it is great to see that it made you list.

  4. TFIOS made me an emotional wreck! The writing was so beautiful and poignant. We Were Liars completely surprised me - what an ending! Great list :)

  5. Grave Mercy is on quite a few TTT lists today. I think I might need to move it up in the TBR pile queue...
