Ten Books I'd Love to Read If I Had A Book Club
I don't belong to a book club. I tried a YA club for adults, but almost everyone was much younger than me, so I felt awkward. One of these days I will try going again, but I'm not sure. If I were to start one myself, this is what I would love to read, and I might one day.
A few years ago this book was the buzz of the ALA annual awards. I think there would be a ton to talk about with this book.
Apparently this is a multi-tissue read. I'm sure that there is a lot to discuss with this one.
The only book to ever win both the Printz and Morris award. It has been on my TBR pile from the moment the awards were announced.
I've bee wanting to read this one for a while. It seems like it would be incredibly thought provoking, and could lead to an interesting conversation.
You can sub out pretty much any other John Green book for this one, and I'm sure it would make an excellent book for a book club.
I have a confession, I've never read anything by A.S. King before. I have heard nothing but amazing things about her books. I picked this one, but I'm sure that others can sub out and lead to an awesome discussion.
I've loved everything that I've read by David Levithan, and books that are listed as Alex Award winners have always been fascinating to me. A discussion about the format alone might lead to an excellent book club meeting.
This is supposed to be a pretty great dystopian novel. I have heard nothing but good things about it from people I trust.
