I picked this book because this happens to be the last book I read. My five words are:
- Surprising
- Sweet
- Thoughtful
- Sincere
- Hopeful
Surprising because I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. I'm not a huge fan of religious books and any book where religion is a huge part of it usually annoys me and I end up hating the book. This was well done. I did find the religious parts sometimes jarring, but it didn't take away from the story. Sweet because it's a really sweet story, with a sweet romance. Thoughtful because the MC spent a lot of time analyzing things and it was full of her thoughts. Sincere because the whole book felt like it has a very sincere tone. Hopeful because it ends on such a hopeful note.
Wow who would have thought five words could say so much about a book, but this combination really makes me want to read it. I'm with you, I don't really get into religious books, so it's great to hear this one isn't annoying or over the top. I love sweet romances, and thoughtful characters too. Very cool feature! :-)
