Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
From pg. 143 of my ARC*
"I brought you an eggnog latte," Levi said, holding it out. "And I've been keeping it warm in my mouth."

Top Ten Books I Would Love To See As A Movie/TV Show
Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss #1) by Stephanie PerkinsI swear this book is destined to pop-up on every TTT I do. I think this book would make an AWESOME TV show. I know it all takes place in one school year, but they can drag that out, right? Or have Anna go in as a freshman. Yes it would change the dynamic, but whatever. Boarding School+Paris=Awesome.
Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Echols
Maybe it's because I enjoy the television show Nashville so much that I want to see this as either a TV show or a Movie. Either one would work for me.
The Name of the Star (Shades of London #1) by Maureen Johnson
I like this as a movie. Maybe they could make it a stand alone? It was so creepy, and I think with the right director, they could make it awesome.
I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls #1) by Ally Carter
I like this series for T.V. How much fun would it be? You can have these girls do all sorts of awesome things. Plus there are 7 books, that means in theory you can get 7 seasons out of it. Come on Hollywood!
Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy #1) by Jennifer Estep
Another T.V. show that would keep me watching. I love this series, and it would be so much fun. The only thing I worry about is them butchering the special effects.
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
A TTT would not be complete without a Sarah Dessen movie. I totally understand why nobody in hollywood wants to tackle her books.
The Year of Secret Assignments (Ashbury/Brookfield #2) by Jaclyn Moriarty
I don't think the entire series would work as a TV or a movie, but I think this book, the best of them, would. I can't decide if it would be a better TV show or a movie, but I think either would work.
Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by
Morgan Matson
I see this as an awesome movie. It would be so much fun. Can you imagine the soundtrack for it? I would love for them to make this movie.
The Boyfriend List: 15 Guys, 11 Shrink Appointments, 4 Ceramic Frogs and Me, Ruby Oliver
(Ruby Oliver #1) by
E. LockhartI think this would be a fantastic T.V. series. Ruby is such an interesting character, and she is nuts. In a good way. Plus the series is long, so there are many seasons that can come from it.
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
I can see this being a totally awesome movie. The costumes, the music, the everything. I would see this movie. Surely it's been optioned?
I like your list! Here is my Teaser:

Eleanor and Park would be such a great movie. Fabulous choices!
ReplyDeleteLOL that teaser is awesome, even if I don't think I'd try that eggnog latte myself :)

ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday
Great List!! I included Gallagher Girls and Anna as well. I love Sarah Dessen as well. A lot of her books would make great movies. I don't know why I didn't select one.

I can't believe I forgot about Anna and the French Kiss. That would be an awesome movie. I would love to see any Sarah Dessen boopk made into a movie. Great list.
ReplyDeleteGood list, I would love to see Gallagher Girls as a tv series although I don't think you could get seven seasons out of the books unless they were really short seasons.
