Top Ten Series I Would Like to Start But Haven't Yet
This is actually a great topic for me. I could probably list about 100 series that I haven't read yet, or only read the first book and need to read the others. But the list is for top 10, so here are mine in no particular order.
The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa--Once again, no excuses. I have the over half the series sitting on my bookshelf.
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare--Yet another series where I have the first book, I just haven't gotten to it yet, and people LOVE it. I have to get to this soon, the movie is coming out any minute.
The Graceling Realm by Kristin Cashore--If you guessed that I have these sitting on my shelf, you would be correct. All three.
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White--Finally a series I need/want to read, and I don't have the first book. I've still heard great things about it.
Luxe by Anna Godbersen--Yes I have at least two of these, and I can always read them from the library. I just haven't. I love the covers.
Anna by Kendare Blake--At some point I will get to these, the first two of which I own. Just haven't gotten to it yet.
Goddess Test by Aimee Carter--Yes, I own the first three, and no I haven't read them yet. I love stories based on mythology, and I'll get to these at some point.
The Morganville Vampires #1 by Rachel Caine--I actually don't own any of these, but they look awesome and I've always wanted to get to them.
Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent--I only own a couple of these, and I've heard great things, I just haven't read any yet.
That's my list of series that I want to read, need to read, and yet I haven't read a single book. Once again, the list of series that I've started and not finished yet would number at about 30. And really, narrowing this list down to 10 was hard. There were some that I really wanted to fit in but didn't have room, some of which I own all the books in the series. Pathetic.
I feel like I should add some honorable mentions. These are books that I own more than one book in the series, and haven't started it yet.

You have no idea. I could not buy a book or check anything out from the library, and still have enough books to last me about 6 years.
DeleteWe've got a lot of overlaps, so I'm adding the rest of yours that I don't have to my TBR. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!

ReplyDeleteMortal Instrument series is great. Well, the firs three. I haven't read the newest book yet. I cannot wait for the movie!
Ha, those were great teasers! Here's my TT post!
ReplyDeleteI recently started the first book in the The Grisha series, and I am loving it. I've heard some great things about Graceling, though I'm kind of hesitant to start them myself (I have the first two books sitting on my shelves).
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great list! I loved the Goddess Test books, Iron Fey, Mortal Instruments, and Soul Screamers. I also have Anna on my Top Ten list.

ReplyDeleteWow! What a list! I've seen Across the Universe on so many lists but it just doesn't quiiiiite get there on selling me. I'll wait for you to read it and then decide lol.
ReplyDeleteAcross the universe sounds great its a series I really want to start.
ReplyDeletenew follower :)
thanks for stopping by my TTT post <3
Okay, I'm going to tell you right now that you HAVE to read the Across the Universe and Darkest Powers series. Both have made it onto my favorites shelf on Goodreads, which I'm very picky about. I even reread the Darkest Powers series this year-the first reread of a series I've ever done (besides Twilight).
ReplyDeleteSo many good series on your list! Soul Screamers made my list too. Graceling was on my list for years and I finally read it last year and loved it!
