  1. Did Across the Universe have a different cover when it originally came out? I thought I wanted to read it based on that. I hate these YA-edification of covers.

    1. That's the original cover. They re-did the entire series before the third book came out.

  2. Can't wait to get Perfect Scoundrels. Did you see the free short story where the Gallagher Girls characters met the Heist Society ones? Very fun, and free for Nook athttp://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/double-crossed-ally-carter/1113983970?ean=9781423187479

    1. I did! I actually got to read it at work. I had to cover an area, and couldn't do any work, so I got to read that. It was super cute.

  5. I haven't read anything by Richelle Mead. I need to. I just finished The Runaway King by Jennifer Nielsen. It was SO good.

  6. There was so much great character development in Perfect Scoundrels, and of course a totally awesome con/heist. But that is just a given with Ally Carter. One day I will start Richelle Mead's books. I need to finish some other series before I start any new ones, but I have my eye on Vampire Academy. http://wp.me/pzUn5-1rH

  7. I want The Indigo Spell SO bad. I ordered it from Book Depository weeks ago, and it hasn't arrived yet. MUST READ.

    Anyway, enjoy reading :)

Take a look at what I'm reading this week.

  8. I love Ally Carter, and I can't wait to read Perfect Scoundrels. I read Double Crossed last week and adored it.
Across the Universe is a series that I haven't started yet. I've heard great things about the series, but I have tooooo many books on my TBR! That might be a series I read this summer since it's COMPLETE and I don't have to wait for any more books.
    Happy reading this week!

  9. Hi there Lisa, I've seen Across the Universe before, but as Earl noted, it did have a different cover from the last time I remembered it. Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I'm definitely intrigued. Lindsey Lost also looks promising. Have a great reading week ahead of you! :)

  10. I'm glad I'm not the only one to be adding books again and again...I sometimes get so excited and think I'll read through something fast and then I struggle with it. Navigating Early did that for me.

I think I want to read the Heist Society...I've seen it here and there but haven't picked it up. It seems like a series I would really enoy though. Will have to see if there's an audio version!

    Thanks for joining in!

  12. I must read the rest of this Richelle Mead spin-off series, I've only done Bloodlines so far but I hear the books get better... I just loved VA so much!
