Feature & Follow Friday (#10)

4/25/2013

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read.

This week's Question: Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?
Nothing immediately comes to mind sometimes I'll listen to a song and it will remind me of the book I'm currently reading, but then I promptly forget about it.

  1. That is OK about not being able to think of a song, I went with one that I had originally posted to my FaceBook wall.

  2. Congrats on being featured! I agree-I don't know a song that really reminds me of a book sometimes a song will come on the radio and I'll think back to a book I just read.

  7. I normally forget too! I just happen to be reading a book now that reminds me of two songs, but usually I can't remember the song once it's done playing.

  11. I'll listen to a song and think of a book then I'll completely forget, unless it's a song that makes me think of something I'm writing at the time. Then I have to listen to it until the writing is complete. Not a good scenario for anyone. New Linky follower. Here's my FF.

I'm actually with you. I don't ever think of song/book combinations on my own. I had to work really hard to try and come up with one for this F&F! I always find it interesting to see what others come up with, but never feel the need to do it myself!

  28. Congrats on the feature! As much as I love music and books, I usually don't connect the two. Every once in a while a song will remind me of a character, but not very often. I do have one for this week's question though. Hope you stop by to check it out :D. New GFC follower.

  37. Congrats on being the feature!! :D I know what you mean, I rarely read with music and even then it'd be light, classical type background music...so it can be hard to link up songs & books. Thanks for sharing & have a GREAT week end!

  44. Hi.. I can't really listen to music while reading. It distracts me too much and I usually end up singing along! So my choice of song and book are an exception.

  48. If I read during the day, I like to put headphones on and listen to music since my husband is usually watching TV. TV distracts me, lol. I have to have the music turned down low but not too low to where I can hear the TV. At night before going to sleep, I like reading in silence.
